PLEASE READ: Before each lighting (including your first burn session), it is important that you TRIM THE CANDLE WICK TO ABOUT 1/4" IN HEIGHT for a clean, safe and even burning experience. This will prevent a large flame from developing and will prevent smoking. Trimming the wick as recommended will also help extend the life of your candle. For a fool-proof way to trim your wicks, check out our Makana Wick Trimmer.
Do not burn candle for more than 3 hours at a time. Additionally, place your candle on a stable surface away from drafts, and away from children and pets. Do not touch a burning candle and allow to cool completely after extinguishing prior to handling.
I'm very picky about candles because most are toxic, give me headaches and smell heavily artificial. The smell is lovely and smells exactly like when you open a jar of jasmine tea.
I have received two Pikake Jasmine Candles —One as a gift, and fell in love with the wonderful fragrance, so I ordered another. I was very disappointed as there is practically no fragrance at all.
