For this very special workshop, we have the pleasure of having Tea Sommelier, Lan Zentil, of Jadetiger Tea at our studio. Lan will be setting up her tea bar where you will be crafting your own tea’mosa cocktail or mocktail featuring premium organically-sourced full leaf tea from estates around the globe. The perfect way to sip and celebrate while creating your own Makana candle.

LEARN
Pouring candles and creating scents involve both art and chemistry. We are so excited to welcome you inside our candle studio where we make candle magic daily. We'll cover step-by-step basics as well as share tips and tricks on how to create artisan-quality 100% soy wax candles that burn cleanly, safely, and evenly. All ages welcome. Children under 12 years of age must have direct adult supervision.
CREATE
Our workshop is hands-on. Each attendee will select a scent from our fragrance collection (including seasonal scents and limited editions, as available), as well as carefully measure and weigh all ingredients prior to hand-blending and hand-pouring. At the end of the workshop, you get to take your own creation home.
EXPERIENCE
What’s special about our workshop is not only will you be hand-pouring your very own candle from scratch, but you’ll also be pouring into a beautiful concrete vessel of your choice. Each vessel is hand-cast in-house using raw concrete and has its own unique characteristics, making your vessel one-of-a-kind. You can choose from a variety of concrete vessels before the workshop begins.
